On Friday the 20th of November to Saturday the 21st of November I enjoyed the experience of exploring Liverpool for the first time.
What I learnt about Liverpool from this short visit was that it’s much colder with super chilly winds in Liverpool at this time of year. I felt like i’d been put in a fridge.
I learnt that there is a lot less green open spaces in Liverpool city unlike Wales however Liverpool was still very beautiful and attractive. Liverpool to me was urban and populated with huge and impressive architecture mixed with modern along with classic vintage styles. The large scaled buildings were pleasantly grand in decoration that each drew me to them attracting speculation and admiration. The decorative aspect of the city really amazed me and made me fall in love with Liverpool so much which made me ignore the cold.
During my trip I took the opportunity to bond with friends from my course, get to know my tutors and to make new friends with people from the other illustration year groups. I visited art galleries in Liverpool such as the Tate Liverpool at Albert Dock and I adored the World Museum which was simply amazing.
A LOVELY, FUN AND DELIGHTFUL TRIP!
